私　「お父さん。 私は『本を書く』っていうのは『教える』ということだと感じています。 お父さんはずっと教師の仕事をしてますよね。 教えるときに「これが大事」というヒントは何かありますか」

父は、しばらく考えてから、ゆっくりと答える。

父　「一度にたくさん教えない、ってことだな。 『今日はこれだけ覚えて帰れ』というのがいい。 それを『本時の課題』というんだ」
